Utilizando uma linguagem acessível para os mais novos iremos falar de Espaço em três temas:
1) Observação do Espaço: Olhar para o Céu, existem mais estrelas no Céu que grãos de areia na Terra. O que podemos distinguir olhando para o céu a olho nu? Como usar telescópios e radiotelescópios para descobrir mais sobre o Espaço. As distâncias e tamanhos relativos dos diversos planetas do sistema Solar
2) Exploração do Espaço: Para ir ao Espaço utilizamos foguetões. Como funcionam? (principio da acção-reacção, usa-se um balão para demonstrar). Como é uma missão espacial desde a descolagem até à aterragem? Que tipo de foguetões existem? (apresentação de modelos à escala).
3) O Espaço no dia-a-dia: Como o Espaço influencia o nosso dia-a-dia. O GPS no carro que nos diz onde devemos ir. Meteorologia, sabemos que tempo fará amanhã graças aos satélites. Satélites de comunicação para zonas sem telemóveis_ Observação da Terra para a agricultura e monitorização das alterações climáticas
A palestra está mais adaptada para um regime presencial dado que trago material de apoio, mas pode ser igualmente dada em regime online. Os horários são indicativos, havendo uma tolerância de cerca de 30min em relação ao indicado.
